We have spent more than three decades advising, creating and printing. We have grown from a small workshop in an industrial building into a plant that supplies clients across many sectors and exports more than 25 % of its turnover.
When my father set up his first company, he did it with a single type of machine and the belief that no label should look like another.
Today we still believe the same: the label is the first conversation between your product and whoever picks it up. That is why we look after every substrate, every finish and every printing technique.
BIOLID was founded by José Manuel and Guillermo Buces in 1995, and with the acquisition of Anmavi Etiquetas Vallisoletanas in 2010 and Industrias Gráficas Marcal in 2019 we brought in the line of labels for wine, food and household products.

New printing and finishing technology. We renew our digital printing technology and add new CARTES finishing equipment to widen our range.
IATF 16949 certification. We raise our quality standards for the automotive industry.
BIOLID BERRIA. We open the new Basauri plant, with the Lehendakari in attendance.
Technology and efficiency. We add new flexographic equipment, centralised waste extraction throughout the plant and an integrated prepress workflow.
Integration into BIOLID IG. We bring the group’s companies together, extend the plant and rearrange its layout to improve production flow.
ISO 14001 certification. We consolidate our commitment to environmental management and improvement.
Sleeve technology. We widen our range with wrap-around labelling solutions for packaging.
Acquisition of Industrias Gráficas Marcal. We widen our range for food, beverages and household products.
A two-million-euro investment. We modernise machinery and facilities in order to grow.
The digital leap. We install our first digital label press.
Expansion and the birth of BIOLID. We acquire ANMAVI in Valladolid and set up Biolid Etiquetas.
Offset and certified quality. We take up offset printing and obtain ISO 9001.
Growing in Zamudio. We move to new premises.
Our beginnings. Label Serigrafía Industrial is founded in Bilbao.
